The RC522 MFRC522 RFID Reader/Writer Module is a compact 13.56MHz contactless RFID module designed for reading and writing compatible RFID cards, tags and key fobs. It is based on the NXP MFRC522 RFID reader IC and commonly communicates with Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi and other microcontrollers through the SPI interface. ShillehTek It is ideal for RFID attendance systems, access-control projects, smart locks, inventory tracking, identification systems and STEM/robotics projects. The typical reading range is only a few centimetres, making it suitable for intentional card/tag tapping. Important: The module operates at 3.3V. Do not connect its power directly to 5V.
